Oyo State Ibadan-Ijebu Road Reconstruction

The Federal Government launched the N297 billion reconstruction of the 56.5km Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode Road in Oyo State, despite protests from Governor Seyi Makinde over his exclusion from the ceremony. President Bola Tinubu emphasized the project's importance for economic connectivity.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu flagged off the reconstruction of the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode Road in Oyo State. The project, managed by JRB Construction Company, is expected to be completed in 36 months and aims to improve connectivity between Oyo and Ogun states.

Oyo State government accused the Federal Government of deliberately excluding Governor Seyi Makinde from the flag-off ceremony of the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode road. The event was attended by several officials, including Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and Minister of Works Dave Umahi.
