Jigawa Judiciary Denies Court Ban On APC Candidate

The Jigawa State Judiciary has refuted claims of a court ban on the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate following the death of Hon. Isa Dogon Yaro, the former member representing the constituency.

In an exclusive interview with Punch, the Director of Publicity and Protocol for the Jigawa State Judiciary, Abbas Wangara, denounced the false reports and clarified that no banning order exists for the APC candidate. Wangara emphasized that the rumors were baseless and misleading, urging the public to rely on credible sources of information rather than social media speculation.

He warned against spreading falsehoods that could undermine public trust and violate the dignity of the judiciary. Wangara appealed to political actors and supporters to refrain from circulating rumors that could incite unrest and confusion.
