Mark Walker, a principal advisor on global religious freedom, issued a statement urging the Nigerian government to act swiftly to strengthen security measures, especially with Easter celebrations approaching. The attacks reportedly targeted predominantly Christian communities, leading to several fatalities and injuries, and disrupting religious activities at the start of Holy Week.
