Jude Bellingham Named England Player of the Year Again

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has been named England Men’s Player of the Year for the 2025–26 season, retaining the award for a second consecutive year. Voted by England supporters via the official England app, Bellingham excelled during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he helped England secure a third-place finish.

He scored seven goals, setting a record for the most goals by an England men’s player at a major tournament. His goals included contributions in group-stage matches against Croatia and Panama, a brace against Mexico in the round of 16, and two goals against Norway in the quarter-finals, culminating in a goal during the 6-4 victory over France in the third-place play-off.

Bellingham started every match and was the team's leading scorer, earning a spot in the FIFA World Cup Dream XI. He also became the youngest England player to reach 50 senior international appearances against Ghana on June 23, surpassing Wayne Rooney's record.
