APC Chieftain Joe Igbokw Escapes Mob Attack in Lagos

Joe Igbokw, an APC chieftain, recounted his narrow escape from a mob attack at Ladipo Market in Lagos State. The incident occurred on a Friday when Igbokw was at the market to purchase spare parts for a vehicle.

Upon being recognized, a group of youths began to draw attention to his presence, leading to a rapidly escalating situation. As the crowd grew, Igbokw sought refuge in a friend's shop, where market leaders intervened to manage the situation.

Despite the chaos, he was able to leave the market safely by entering a vehicle and driving away. Igbokw dismissed social media reports claiming he was beaten during the incident, stating he was not harmed.

He expressed hope that such incidents do not happen again and hinted at taking appropriate action to confront similar situations in the future.
