Fire Breaks Out at Federal Mortgage Bank Headquarters

On Saturday, a significant fire engulfed the headquarters of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria located in Abuja, opposite the Central Bank of Nigeria. The blaze reportedly began on the fourth floor and rapidly spread to the upper sections of the building.

A Facebook user, Praises Chukwu, shared images of the incident, indicating that the fire service team was actively working to extinguish the flames, which appeared to be spreading across the top floor. As of the time of reporting, the cause of the fire had not been established, and there was no immediate information regarding potential casualties or the extent of the damage caused by the fire.
