PDP Appoints Tanimu Turaki as Caretaker Committee Head

The People's Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, has officially unveiled a 13-member caretaker committee, with Tanimu Turaki appointed as the chairman. This decision was ratified during the 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja on Monday.

The motion to appoint the committee was moved by Edo State PDP Chairman Toni Aziegbemi and seconded by party ex-officio member Clement Fagboyede. Other members of the committee include Taofeek Arapaja, Daniel Ambros, Hamza Abuya, Ihediwa Isah, Abubakar Theophilu, Dakashan Ini, Ememobong Aribisala, Adewal Idowu, Baru Shaffi, and Okechukwu Obiechina.

The formal unveiling of Turaki as the head of the caretaker committee was reported earlier by Makinde's camp, with further details expected to be released later.
