Seven Killed in Bandit Attack on Katsina Community

On Sunday night, a heavily armed group of bandits attempted to invade Ketar Town in the Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State. Local vigilantes, part of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), engaged the bandits in a fierce gun battle, which ultimately forced the attackers to retreat.

The confrontation resulted in the deaths of at least seven defenders, including two members of the CJTF. Security analyst Bakatsin Post disclosed the incident on Monday, lamenting the human cost of the violence.

Each casualty represents a family left devastated, with the community enduring a cycle of fear and loss as they cope with the aftermath of the attack.
