Apostle Adeyeye Urges Tinubu to Abandon 2027 Bid

Apostle Oluwarotimi Adeyeye, founder of the Clear Revelation Ministry, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reconsider his plans for re-election in 2027. During an interactive session with journalists on August 30, Adeyeye cited the deepening economic hardship and security concerns as primary reasons for his appeal.

He highlighted the struggles of ordinary Nigerians, noting the rising costs of living, with cooking gas priced at approximately N1,500 per kilogram and petrol at about N1,300 per litre. Adeyeye pointed out the increasing number of beggars on the streets as indicative of the urgent need for political intervention.

He clarified that his stance was not influenced by ethnic sentiments, emphasizing a sincere assessment of the political landscape. While acknowledging Tinubu's significant political contributions, Adeyeye warned that if economic conditions do not improve before the 2027 elections, public sentiment could shift negatively against the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
