Justice Forum Backs Babajimi Benson's Fourth Term Bid

Mr. Ibiyemi Sanni, the vice chairman of the Justice Forum, publicly endorsed Hon.

Babajimi Benson's attempt to secure a fourth term as the representative for Ikorodu in Lagos State. In a statement released on Saturday, Sanni condemned any claims that could undermine Benson's candidacy, asserting that such allegations only serve to create tension within the constituency.

He highlighted the importance of democracy and the right of constituents to choose their representatives. Sanni urged members of the party and stakeholders in Igbogbo-Baiyeku to disregard false claims and continue supporting Benson, whom he credited with significant contributions since his election in 2015, including road construction, the establishment of a smart police station, and an 80-bed mother and child hospital in Imota.

Benson currently serves as the chair of the House Committee on Defence and has been re-elected in 2019 and 2023.
