Osun JUSUN Declares Warning Strike Over Unpaid Entitlements - Demands Government Action

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) in Osun declared a three-day warning strike due to unpaid entitlements dating back to 2015. The union listed grievances such as unattended promotions, outstanding entitlements for 2024 and 2025, and delayed implementation of the new minimum wage.

JUSUN emphasized the importance of motivated staff for the integrity of the judiciary. Despite a previous suspension of strikes, the union resumed industrial action due to the state government's failure to honor agreements.

The union's demands included the settlement of salary arrears and wage award arrears to ensure the judiciary's effective functioning.
