Kaduna Government to Support Family of Murdered Teacher

On Saturday, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State visited the family of Malama Ummulkhairi, an Islamic teacher who was brutally murdered by a mob in Maraban Jos, Igabi Local Government. The governor pledged that the state government would cater to the upkeep of Ummulkhairi's husband and their four children, including sponsoring the children's education.

The incident occurred on the penultimate Sunday, where the mob accused her of attempting to kidnap children and subsequently set her body ablaze. Governor Sani condemned the mob action and promised that those responsible would face the full wrath of the law.

He stated that 41 individuals have been charged with culpable homicide, while an additional 41 are under investigation for unlawful assembly. The governor emphasized the need for thorough investigations by security agencies and assured that those involved in the murder would be held accountable, regardless of their status.
