Kaduna State to Support Family of Murdered Teacher

On Saturday, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State visited the family of Ummulkhairi Usman Aliyu, an Islamic teacher who was brutally killed by a mob in Maraban Jos. The governor promised that the state government would take responsibility for the upkeep of Aliyu's husband and their four children, including sponsoring the children's education.

The incident occurred on the previous Sunday, where Aliyu was accused of attempting to kidnap children, leading to her murder and the burning of her body. Governor Sani condemned the mob's actions and stated that the perpetrators would face the full force of the law.

He revealed that 41 individuals have been charged with culpable homicide, while an additional 41 are under investigation for unlawful assembly. The governor emphasized the need for thorough investigations by security agencies, particularly in the Maraban Jos area, to prevent such incidents in the future.
