NYSC Calls for Permanent Camp and Better Welfare in Kaduna

Mr. Efek Murna Dadaza, the Kaduna State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), appealed to the Kaduna State government for the establishment of a permanent orientation camp and enhancements to the welfare of corps members.

This appeal was made during the closing ceremony of the 2026 Batch B Stream orientation course held at the temporary orientation camp. Dadaza highlighted the damage caused by a rainstorm with strong winds on June 23, which affected the roofs of several buildings at the temporary camp, necessitating urgent renovations.

She requested additional iron bunk beds, mattresses, and improved feeding provisions for corps members. Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of discipline and skill acquisition programs for the corps members.

Governor Uba Sani, who was represented by Gloria Ibrahim, encouraged corps members to take advantage of opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the development of Kaduna State and underscored the importance of completing post-camp training to enhance their professional development.
