APC's Rabiu Shuaibu Wins Dawakin Kudu/Warawa By-Election

In the recent by-election for the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa federal constituency in Kano State, Rabiu Shuaibu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Shuaibu received a total of 35,356 votes, defeating his nearest competitor, Lawal Garba Haruna of the People's Movement (APM), who secured only 268 votes.

Abubakar Yahaya Muhammad from the Labour Party (LP) garnered 98 votes. This election was conducted to fill the vacancy created by the death of the former lawmaker representing the constituency, Muhammad Danjuma Hassan of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP).

The electoral process was reported to be orderly, with effective coordination by security agencies and electoral officials, contributing to a smooth voting experience across the polling units in the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa local government area.
