Gwarzo Appointed Chancellor of Hausa Community in Europe

Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has been appointed as the Chancellor of the Hausa Community in Europe, a recognition of his significant contributions to promoting Hausa culture, language, and the welfare of Hausa communities across Europe. The Emir of the Hausa Community in Europe, Alhaji Surajo Jankado, announced this appointment during the celebration of International Hausa Day held in Paris, France.

In his acceptance speech, Gwarzo expressed gratitude for the honor and committed to working with stakeholders to enhance the promotion of Hausa language, culture, and unity among the Hausa people in Europe. He emphasized the need for cooperation among Hausa communities in Europe to preserve their heritage.

Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by his spokesperson Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, commended Gwarzo's appointment as meritorious, citing his dedication to community service both in Europe and Nigeria. The event also recognized other individuals, including Prof. Suwaiba Ahmed and Dr. Hajjo Sani, who were honored during the celebration.
