Governor Yusuf Urges Muslims to Emulate Prophet Muhammad

In a goodwill message commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Governor Yusuf of Kano State called on Muslims to reflect on the Prophet's life and teachings. Issued on Tuesday through his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor highlighted the importance of virtues such as peace, justice, compassion, honesty, patience, and tolerance.

He urged the faithful to incorporate these values into their daily lives and to promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among people of different backgrounds. Yusuf also encouraged parents, religious leaders, and community elders to educate younger generations about the Prophet's exemplary conduct.

He prayed for continued peace, stability, and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria, and urged citizens to support initiatives aimed at improving community wellbeing. Additionally, he prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, wishing them success in their first tenure and a smooth re-election bid in 2027.

Yusuf wished Muslims a peaceful Maulud celebration and encouraged prayers for national unity and progress.
