Kano PDP Deputy Guber Candidate Dambatta Joins APC

Alhaji Yusuf Dambatta, who previously served as the deputy governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State, announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday. Dambatta stated that he left the PDP because he believes the APC provides a more suitable platform for advancing development in the state.

He has previously served as an advisor to the Senate Committee on National Planning and as a former commissioner for budget in Kano State. Dambatta expressed confidence in working with APC members to support the "Kano First Agenda," which aims to continue the development of the state.

He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people and promoting unity in the pursuit of policies that enhance peace, prosperity, and sustainable development. Dambatta also acknowledged Governor Abba Yusuf's remarks regarding contributions to the welfare and infrastructure development of Kano State.
