Kano Police Recover N82m Tramadol and Pregabalin Tablets, Make Major Arrests

Kano State Police Command recovered N82 million worth of Tramadol and Pregabalin tablets in Rimin Auzinawa Quarters, Kano metropolis. Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Adamu Bakori announced the recovery during a briefing, highlighting the command's recent successes, including the arrest of 105 suspects involved in major crimes like armed robbery, drug dealing, and theft.

The seized items from the suspects included firearms, vehicles, motorcycles, dangerous weapons, illicit drugs, and stolen property. The command's intensified operations, in line with directives from Police Kayode Egbetokun, aim to prevent crimes ahead of the festive period.

The recovered drugs were handed over to the NDLEA for investigation and prosecution, showcasing the commitment to combating illicit activities in the state.
