Katsina State Honors Top Teacher with New Vehicle Award

The Katsina State Government recognized Hadiza Nazifi, a teacher at Bayajidda Memorial Primary School in Daura, as the best-performing primary school teacher. She received a brand-new Peugeot 206 from Dr Kabir Magaji, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), at the board’s headquarters.

Dr Magaji highlighted her dedication, diligence, resilience, punctuality, and outstanding commitment to teaching and learning as reasons for her selection. The award was endorsed by both an award committee and evaluators who assessed her performance.

This initiative is part of the Governor Dikko Umaru Radda-led government's efforts to reward outstanding civil servants and promote excellence in public service. Magaji congratulated Nazifi on her achievement and encouraged her to maintain the high standards that earned her this recognition.

He also urged all teachers in the state to recommit to their duties to enhance the quality of basic education in Katsina State.
