Katsina State to Automatically Employ First-Class Graduates

Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Radda unveiled a new policy during the closing ceremony of the maiden Katsina Student Week held at Bayero University Kano. The initiative will provide automatic employment to first-class graduates from accredited higher institutions within Katsina State.

Additionally, the policy will extend to include Katsina indigenes who graduate with first-class honors from institutions nationwide. This initiative is part of the administration's commitment to reward academic excellence and build a highly skilled workforce in the state.

Governor Radda emphasized that the aim is to strengthen the state's civil service, ensuring it is competent and capable of delivering efficient public service to drive development. Furthermore, he announced that scholarship payment arrears from 2021 to 2026 would be addressed to ensure uninterrupted support for students, which he described as a significant boost for youth employment in Katsina State.
