Katsina Governor Radda Unveils 5.1km Road Projects

On Tuesday, Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda commissioned two road projects as part of the state's urban renewal program, totaling 5.1 kilometers. The projects aim to improve traffic flow, enhance road safety, and stimulate economic activity.

The first project involves the reconstruction of the 3.9-kilometer Funtua-Katsina road, which was completed at a cost of 5.8 billion Naira. The second project upgrades the 1.2-kilometer Tsohuwar Kasuwa road, executed at a cost of 637 million Naira.

During the inauguration, Radda emphasized the administration's commitment to sustainable infrastructure investment as a central strategy for economic growth and urban development. The Funtua-Katsina road stretches from the Central Mosque roundabout to the Dutsen Rimi roundabout, while the Tsohuwar Kasuwa road links the Central Mosque roundabout to the Zaria-Gusau bypass.

The projects include features such as asphalt concrete pavement and solar-powered streetlights, showcasing the administration's commitment to providing durable infrastructure that supports economic growth and enhances the quality of life for residents.
