ADC Accuses APC of Political Witch-Hunt Against Malami

The Kebbi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is engaging in a politically motivated witch-hunt against Abubakar Malami, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice. The ADC claims that the ongoing legal actions against Malami are part of a broader strategy to intimidate opposition politicians ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement jointly signed by the Kebbi State Chairman of the ADC, Engr. Sufiyanu Bala, and the Chairman of the party's Elder Forum, Alhaji Shehu Aliyu Sambawa, the ADC expressed its unwavering support for Malami.

They argued that the legal actions are aimed at tarnishing Malami's reputation and are carefully orchestrated to achieve predetermined political objectives. The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to the rule of law and due process, stating that no amount of pressure or intimidation would deter them from their goal of unseating the APC in the upcoming elections.
