Kebbi Government Integrates Hunters into Security Framework

The Kebbi state government has formally included hunters in its security architecture to enhance the safety of citizens. Governor Nasir Idris addressed a large assembly of hunters in Birnin Kebbi, emphasizing their significant contribution to societal peace and security.

He acknowledged the hunters’ association as a strong and united entity, stating that their services are crucial for both security and political stability in the state and nation. Governor Idris urged the hunters to remain law-abiding and supportive of leadership.

In a show of commitment, he donated N100 million to the Hunters’ Association to aid in the welfare and operational needs of its members. He also solicited their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming 2027 elections, indicating that the gathering reflected confidence in his administration.
