Tinubu's Aide Calls for Accountability on Kidnappings

Daniel Bwala, the special adviser on policy communication to President Bola Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to hold state governors responsible for the rising incidences of kidnappings across Nigeria. In an interview on the Morayo Show, Bwala asserted that every kidnapping incident should be attributed to the respective state governor, emphasizing that safety at the local level is a significant issue.

He criticized the management of funds intended for community growth and safety, suggesting that governors must ensure the security of their areas. Bwala also referenced the Safe School Initiative, which was designed to make schools safer by providing funds for security measures, such as building fences around schools.

He urged that money allocated for such initiatives should be properly utilized to enhance safety and prevent kidnappings.
