Fadahunsi Faces Police Over Alleged Threats to Accord Members

Francis Fadahunsi, the Senator representing Osun East in the National Assembly, arrived at the Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo at approximately 2:35 pm. He was accompanied by Samuel Etaifo, the Commissioner of Police in charge of election and security.

Fadahunsi, along with Francis Eniade, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo Otin Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, faced backlash for allegedly threatening members of the Accord Party. A video that circulated on social media featured Fadahunsi speaking in Yoruba, where he stated that any Accord member sighted in Ilesa before the Saturday governorship election should be killed.

This statement has raised significant concerns ahead of the election.
