Kogi Assembly Confirms Bello as Commissioner Amid 2027 Plans

The Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed Bello, the immediate past chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, as a commissioner. This confirmation followed his formal nomination by Governor Ahm Usman Ododo.

During the plenary session, the assembly's committee of the whole examined Bello's nomination, which was subsequently approved. The assembly commended Bello for his leadership role in strengthening the APC and noted his contributions to the party's electoral success in Kogi State.

Bello expressed confidence that his appointment would translate into improved welfare for local government workers and enhance service delivery across the state. He also emphasized the APC's strength in Kogi and its performance under President Bola Tinubu, asserting that the party is expected to emerge victorious in the upcoming 2027 elections.
