Kwaja Unveils Plan for Peace and Security in Plateau

Professor Chris Kwaja, a candidate contesting for the Plateau North senatorial seat, has pledged to implement a "Marshal Plan" aimed at enhancing peace and security in Plateau State. During an interactive session with journalists, Kwaja highlighted the urgent need for effective leadership to address the recurring conflicts in the region, which he attributes to weak representation and misaligned community needs.

He criticized the current legislative patterns that limit public engagement and emphasized the importance of mobilizing community networks to implement security measures. Kwaja also pointed out that the persistent insecurity in Plateau North is partly due to a lack of quality leadership and called for the involvement of religious leaders and youth in addressing these challenges.

He proposed the establishment of early warning systems and community sensitization initiatives to create a safer environment. Kwaja's commitment is to place the people at the center of governance, aiming to restore stability and trust in the region.
