Kwankwaso Critiques APC Campaign Council's Formation

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vice presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, stating it represents a continuation of the hardships faced by Nigerians. In a statement on his Facebook account, Kwankwaso argued that the council's composition reflects the same political actors who have contributed to the current administration's failures.

He emphasized that the upcoming 2027 general election would be a choice between the oppressed masses and those benefiting from the existing system. Kwankwaso also expressed concern over Senator Yari's appointment as Director-General of the APC campaign council, suggesting it indicated nervousness within the opposition.

Furthermore, the Nigeria Rescue and Renewal Movement condemned the inclusion of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff in the council due to his alleged ties to Boko Haram. Kwankwaso lamented the struggles of families with rising costs and unemployment, urging Yari to reconsider leading a campaign that aims to continue the current government.
