Abdullahi Resigns from ADC, Citing Leadership Mandate

Abdullahi, a significant figure within the Kwankwasiyya movement in Kano State, has officially resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC). His resignation was announced on a Friday, following a direct mandate from the movement's leadership.

The formal resignation letter, dated May 1, 2026, was addressed to the ADC chairman of Kofar Ruwa Ward. In his letter, Abdullahi confirmed his departure from the party, which takes immediate effect, and expressed gratitude for the time he spent within the organization.

He requested that the ward leadership acknowledge his notice and inform the necessary higher authorities. Abdullahi also conveyed his best wishes for the party's future endeavors and asked that his official notice be communicated to the appropriate authorities.
