Kwara Senator Mustapha Disburses N1.5bn in Farm Inputs

This initiative is part of the Renew Hope Farmer Support Scheme, which aims to boost food production and support the federal government's food security agenda.

The distributed items include 5,000 bags of NPK fertilizer, 2,500 bags of urea, 1,000 knapsack sprayers, 250 power tillers, and 500 water pumps. During the flag-off ceremony in Ilorin, Mustapha, who chairs the Senate Committee on Agriculture, emphasized the importance of empowering farmers to increase crop yields and strengthen food security across the country.

He urged beneficiaries to utilize the inputs effectively during the current farming season. Shuaibu Salman, the Chairman of the Farmer Association Nigeria in Kwara State, and Mallam Soliu Moham, the Chairman of the Rice Farmers Association in Nigeria, commended Mustapha's efforts, highlighting the initiative's potential to significantly improve agricultural productivity in the state.
