Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame Governor's Belt Event Showcases Nigerian Boxing Talent

The Lagos Boxing Hall of Fame Governor's Belt event in Lagos brought together Nigeria's top pugilists from states like Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Oyo, Borno, and FCT Abuja to compete in various weight categories. The event, organized by LBHF, aimed to ensure fighters were fully prepared through intense training camps.

The tournament featured five main bouts and seven exhibition matches, including both male and female boxers. Notable participants included Faruk Abijuwon, Lateef Qudu, Opeyemi Odebod, Rasak Tairu, Abdullahi Robiu, Femi Adeniji, Olamilekan Alabi, Mustapha Salam, Khadijat Balogun, Yakubu Alia, and Wale Edun.
