Lagos CP Jimoh Inspects Pan-Atlantic University Security

On Wednesday, Lagos State Police Commissioner Olohunwa Jimoh visited Pan-Atlantic University in Lekki to inspect security measures following a viral video that depicted two masked individuals emerging from a forest area near the institution. The visit aimed to assess the security situation and reassure students, staff, and parents about ongoing safety measures.

During the inspection, Jimoh met with the university management and stressed the importance of strengthening security arrangements around the campus to prevent potential threats. He advised the university authorities to implement strategies to enhance security and warned against actions that could compromise existing safety structures.

The Lagos State Police Command issued a statement highlighting the importance of proactive security measures, particularly in perimeter surveillance and access control, and encouraged collaboration with relevant security agencies. Additionally, the Lagos State government is deploying surveillance drones to support law enforcement activities in the area, aiming to improve aerial monitoring and intelligence gathering for crime prevention.
