Stakeholder Donates Vehicle to Police Special Fraud Unit

The Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU) in Ikoyi, Lagos, received an additional operational vehicle from a stakeholder to strengthen its efforts against economic and financial crimes across Nigeria. The vehicle was officially unveiled on Monday, with DSP Ovi Kenneth Ewhubar representing the unit and CP Eloho Edwin Okpoziakpo describing the donation as a strong vote of confidence in the unit's activities.

This initiative demonstrates a growing partnership between the Nigerian Police Force and the public in combating fraud. The additional vehicle is expected to improve the unit's logistics, enhance mobility, and boost intelligence-led investigations into fraud, money laundering, and financial crime.

This donation aligns with the vision of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to strengthen the police force and improve logistics. CP Okpoziakpo emphasized that tackling financial crime requires collective efforts and urged corporate organizations to develop partnerships to support police operations and resource credibility.
