Mourinho Seeks Khedira's Return to Real Madrid Staff

José Mourinho, the current coach of Real Madrid, is pushing for the return of former German midfielder Sami Khedira to join his coaching staff as an assistant coach. According to Sky Sports, Khedira has already given his approval for the move, and final discussions are anticipated to take place soon.

The deal is expected to be completed within the month. Khedira, who is 39 years old, is expected to play a key role both on the training ground and within the dressing room.

He is already part of Real Madrid's coaching staff as they prepare for the pre-season. Mourinho has penciled in July 1 as the official start date for Khedira's new role.
