Njemanze Dynasty Appeals to Uzodinma Over Land Dispute

The Njemanze dynasty, represented by Princess Stella Njemanze-Neboh, has raised concerns over an alleged attempt by the Senator Hope Uzodinma administration to forcibly take over Area K land in New Owerri, Imo State. Princess Stella claims that the land is currently subject to litigation, which the Njemanze family won through a judgment delivered by Justice K A.

Ojiako in suit number HOW/146/1999 at the State High Court. She emphasized the historical context of the land's inheritance, stating it was granted to the Njemanze family by the people of Umuguma in Owerri West as compensation for the death of a family member.

Princess Stella challenged anyone claiming ownership of the land to provide evidence of their entitlement. She urged Governor Uzodinma to intervene to prevent conflict with the Njemanze family and the Owerre Nshi Ise community, reminding him of their support during his electoral victory in the region.
