LASUED emerged as the winner of the Lagos Campus Beach Soccer 2025 tournament, held on Saturday, July 26 at Atican Beach in Lekki. The event saw football enthusiasts gather in large numbers to enjoy the intense competition on the sandy beach, accompanied by music.
LASUED secured the gold medal by earning the highest number of points, defeating Lagos City Polytechnic in the opening game and drawing with University of Lagos (UNILAG) in the tense final encounter. Despite UNILAG's valiant efforts throughout the tournament, they had to settle for the silver medal.
Lagos City Polytechnic finished with the bronze medal. The tournament, organized in collaboration with BrandEscort Communications, aims to enhance the quality of grassroots sports development in the state and discover promising young footballers from tertiary institutions.
