LBS and Aquiline Launch Security Leadership Program

Lagos Business School (LBS) has partnered with Aquiline Consult to launch a security leadership program designed to strengthen leadership capabilities across Nigeria's security sector amid growing security challenges and resource constraints. The program is scheduled to take place from September 14 to 18, 2026, and will bring together senior officials from government, law enforcement agencies, and corporate security units.
The program fee is set at N1.65 million, and registration is currently open. It aims to equip participants with strategic operational leadership capabilities necessary to manage increasingly complex security environments.
The program will cover topics such as strategic leadership, complex environment risk assessment, crisis management, and innovative security operations. Isaac Orolugbagbe, the academic director, emphasized the importance of leadership in anticipating risks and making sound strategic decisions.
Onyekachi Adekoya, managing director of Aquiline Consult, stated that investing in leadership development is essential for building stronger and more responsive security institutions in Nigeria and across Africa.
