Iroegbu Urges APC Supporters to Join the Party

Dickson Iroegbu, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stated that the leader of a faction supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) should consider moving into the APC. This comment was made in response to an appeal court ruling that dismissed an appeal concerning the PDP's national convention outcomes held in Ibadan, Oyo State, in November.

The Abuja appeal court upheld a judgment from the Federal High Court in Abuja dated October 31, 2025, which restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from recognizing the outcomes of the 2025 national convention of the PDP. Iroegbu expressed his views during an interview on Arise Television's prime time program, emphasizing that the PDP cannot extend its rule to the APC.
