Cathedral Honors Late Chief Engr. Godswill Nwosu in Abuja

A service of songs was conducted at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Abuja on Monday to honor the late Chief Engr. Godswill Nwosu (KSC), who was remembered fondly by family, friends, and community members.

The event saw a full congregation paying tribute to Nwosu, described as a soft-spoken philanthropist and humanitarian. The Primate of Nigeria, Bishop Rev.

Henri Ndukuba, extolled Nwosu's virtues, emphasizing his wisdom and dedication as a prayer warrior. Nwosu, who was a member of the Anglican Church, passed away in 2026 at the age of 49, leaving behind a wife and four children.

Various speakers, including Barr. Nnamdi Asumugha and Uju Chibogu, shared personal anecdotes, highlighting Nwosu's humility and generosity.

The service also included tributes from church representatives and family members, who urged the congregation to support the bereaved family during this difficult time. Nwosu's burial is scheduled for July 10, 2026, at his family home in Nnewi.
