APC Calls for Police Investigation into Senator's Comments

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that the police should determine the legality of comments made by Senator Francis Fadahunsi at an APC campaign rally in Ilesa. Morka urged the public to allow authorities to investigate the matter, emphasizing that it is not the role of political parties or individuals to assess the legality of Fadahunsi's remarks.

He noted that Fadahunsi had been invited to explain his comments and that the police should provide context to determine if any unlawful actions were warranted. Morka also condemned the violence reported in Osun State leading up to the governorship election, stating that political participation should not endanger citizens.

He called for investigations into the violence and expressed confidence in the APC's electoral chances based on their record rather than resorting to violence. Fadahunsi had previously been questioned for hours at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Osogbo regarding the campaign video.
