Egor LG Chairman Donates Vehicles to Boost Security

On Thursday, Osaro Eribo, the chairman of Egor Local Government Area in Edo State, donated 12 motorcycles and a Sienna bus to the Edo State Security Network and the Ugbowo Division Police Station. This initiative aims to bolster crime-fighting efforts in the area, which is one of the busiest and fastest-growing local government areas in Benin Metropolis.

Eribo emphasized that adequate security is foundational for sustainable development, stating that no community can prosper without the protection of lives and property. The motorcycles will enhance surveillance and emergency response capabilities across Egor.

He noted the importance of local government support in ensuring safety and security, complementing the efforts of the state government. Mr.

Omusi Omoregi received the vehicles on behalf of the security agencies and commended the Egor local government administration for its intervention. The donation is expected to improve patrol operations and public confidence in security measures within the community.
