Kogi Governor Ododo Donates 10 Electric Patrol Motorcycles

Kogi State Governor Ododo presented 10 electric patrol motorcycles to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to bolster their operational capacity. The donation was made during a ceremony at the Government House in Lokoja, where Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of effective traffic management and road safety measures in Nigeria.

He highlighted Kogi State's strategic position as a gateway between northern and southern Nigeria, which places significant pressure on its road network. The motorcycles are intended to enhance the FRSC's emergency response capabilities and improve highway patrol operations.

Governor Ododo also dedicated his role as the Grand Patron of the FRSC Special Marshal Corps, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu acknowledging the importance of promoting road safety. Additionally, Corp Marshal Shehu Moham appealed for the revival of motor parks across Kogi State to further enhance traffic management.
