NAFDAC Bans Alcohol Products Due to Safety Concerns

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a public warning regarding the safety of Japata Alcohol Bitter and other alcohol products produced by Chigodson International Company Limited. Testing revealed adulteration with harmful substances, leading to the ban of these products.

NAFDAC conducted investigations following consumer complaints and found the products to be unwholesome and unfit for human consumption. The agency confirmed that the alcohol content in the products was tainted, causing severe effects.

NAFDAC has shut down the production facility and urged the public to be cautious of illegal products.
