Liverpool FC to Honor Diogo Jota with Memorial Tribute

Liverpool FC is preparing a memorial tribute for Diogo Jota, who joined the club in 2020 and scored 65 goals in 182 appearances. This tribute comes after the passing of his brother, André Silva, a 25-year-old player for Penafiel in Portugal's second division.

The memorial will include a sculpture designed with a heart motif, symbolizing the brothers' connection and referencing Jota's goal celebration. Fans will be encouraged to sing Jota's song in the 20th minute of every game, celebrating his legacy and the bond he shared with his brother, who wore the number 30 shirt.

The memorial will be located at Anfield, specifically at 97 Avenue, and will incorporate a stone plinth to honor Jota's memory. The unveiling date for the memorial has not yet been announced.

During his time at Liverpool, Jota contributed significantly to the team's success, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and two League Cups.
