Madumere Advocates Preventive Healthcare at IMSU Outreach

Prince Eze Madumere, the former Deputy Governor of Imo State, emphasized the importance of good health as a foundation for education and sustainable development during his address at the Faculty of Health Science Students’ Association (FOHSSA) Free Medical Outreach at Imo State University in Owerri. He highlighted the critical role of preventive healthcare initiatives, such as free medical outreaches, in reducing disease burden through early detection and public health awareness.

Madumere commended FOHSSA for extending healthcare services into the community, recognizing the students' efforts as a demonstration of leadership and social responsibility. He noted the comprehensive services provided during the outreach, including BMI assessments, HIV screenings, and health education.

Madumere encouraged students to maintain excellence and integrity in their careers while expressing his commitment to supporting healthcare improvement initiatives in Imo State. He also acknowledged the contributions of OCCEEJ Diagnostics and other partners in making the outreach successful.
