APC Accuses Oyo Governor Makinde of Neglecting Duties

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alleged that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has prioritized political activities over his governance responsibilities. In a statement signed by the party's Public Secretary, Wasiu Olawal Sadar, the APC criticized Makinde for neglecting critical issues requiring his attention, such as recent security breaches, waste management problems, and road accidents in the state.

They expressed concern that the governor was absent during significant incidents, including a road accident that resulted in the loss of lives, while he was instead engaged in political discussions related to the 2027 elections. The APC's statement highlighted the need for the governor to focus on governance rather than political ambitions, especially in light of the challenges facing Oyo State.

The party called for Makinde to prioritize the demands of the state over his political aspirations, suggesting that his current focus is detrimental to the welfare of the residents.
