Malami Launches ADC Campaign Council in Kebbi State

On Wednesday, Abubakar Malami, SAN, the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, inaugurated a 600-member campaign council for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State. He called for unity, reconciliation, and issue-based politics as the ADC prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Malami emphasized that the council's formation marks the start of a coordinated effort to spread the ADC's message across all 21 local government areas in Kebbi. He highlighted the importance of diversity within the council, which includes members from various communities and senatorial districts.

Malami acknowledged the party's senatorial candidates, including Gen. Aminu Bande for Kebbi Central, Garba Maidoki for Kebbi South, and Chiroman Kabi, Alhaji Mera for Kebbi North. He urged members to avoid tribalism and personal rivalries, advocating for reconciliation and trust-building.

Malami introduced the theme “One ADC, One Campaign,” stressing the need for collective effort over individual ambitions and warned against inflammatory rhetoric that could harm community relationships.
