Man Arrested For Stealing Motorcycle In Ogun
A man identified as Falade Wasiu was arrested by the Ogun State Community Social Orientation Safety Corps for stealing a motorcycle in Akashu Village. The arrest was made following a report received about the theft of a lady's motorcycle in the area.
Wasiu confessed to the crime and revealed that he had conspired with an accomplice named Wale to steal the motorcycle five months ago in Ajegunle. The stolen motorcycle was found in his possession, along with other items such as a gas lighter and an MTN SIM card.
Wasiu had kept the stolen motorcycle in an uncompleted building since the theft and had planned to sell it in Oshodi, Lagos State. The suspect also admitted to escaping police custody in the past.
The recovered exhibit has been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and possible prosecution.
