Father Arrested for Impregnating Daughter Five Times

Oluwadamilare Ewedemi was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly sexually abusing and impregnating his 21-year-old daughter five times. The abuse reportedly began in 2019, shortly after the victim lost her mother and was placed in a motherless home in Ikeja, Lagos State.

Ewedemi took her under the pretense of guardianship in Ijebu Ode, where the sexual abuse continued for several years. During this period, the victim underwent five illegal abortions, which were allegedly procured by her father.

On February 1, 2026, the victim escaped his residence due to excessive harassment and relocated to a church at Pakoto Mountain. Following her report to the police, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed the arrest of Ewedemi, who is currently in police custody.

Preliminary investigations are ongoing, and the case has been transferred to the gender desk for thorough investigation and prosecution.
